About Chute Pond Snowmobile Club and Our Members

Chute Pond Snowmobile Club is a member of the AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs), with over 200 family memberships. We meet from October through April, on the second Saturday of the month. We hold several "family friendly" annual events for our club members such as our Hayride & Bonfire cookout, Blast From the Past Vintage weekend, and Trailside Cookout. We look forward to having you join us as a member!

You can pay quickly and easily using our website. If desired, you can print the forms and mail in your membership with payment or click the button below to sign up online!

Chute Pond, located in Mountain, WI, is a flowage of the Oconto River, and is near the center of our trail system. We have our own snowmobile shop and equipment storage building where we store and maintain our grooming equipment. We own two current model year Case tractors, a New Holland tractor with tracks, an LMC tracked groomer, and five grooming drags which we use to groom our 100+ miles of trails. All of our trail brushing and preparation is done by club volunteers, organized by our CPSC Adopt-A-Trail Program.

Our club is very active and committed to our local community. We are members of Mountain Area Business Association and Dusty Trails ATV Club. We hold an annual food drive for the local food pantry, we have our own section of Hwy 32 in the Adopt-a-Highway program, and have donated money and volunteered hours to our local community and other charitable causes- including Suring Schools, Mountain Area Ambulance Service (EMS), local food pantries, Old Glory Honor Flight, Oconto River Kids, Mountain VFW Post 2119, Suring American Legion Post 283, and Vets 4 Vets of Northeast Wisconsin.

CPSC clothing is available for sale at Karen’s Unique Gifts & Custom Embroidery, AKA Wirth Produce Too, 13954 State Highway 32/64, Mountain, WI  54149. The phone number is 715-850-0552. https://cpsc2020.itemorder.com/sale

TRAIL PASS INFORMATION

All snowmobiles must display an annual trail pass in addition to the Wisconsin registration sticker. Snowmobile club members can get the trail passes at a discounted rate of $10 through the AWSC office. You will need your AWSC membership number that has been renewed through the club, along with the snowmobile's registration number to get your discounted trail pass. Please go to https://awsc.org/ for more information.

A trail pass for a club member that is affiliated with a business is a little different. A “business” cannot get a trail pass, but the owners of the business can.  As a business owner and sponsor, you must provide your personal name in the contact spots on the form in order to use that AWSC membership number to get a discounted trail pass.  The process is then the same as a personal membership to get the trail pass. Benefits of being a Business Sponsor member include:

  • Listing your business on the Chute Pond Snowmobile Club website

  • Listing your business in the Wisconsin Snowmobile News magazine in both the December and February publications (provided renewals/registration with the club occurs by November 15)

  • Patronizing your business by club members

  • Listing your business on the Club drag
