The trailside cookout and take a friend ride scheduled for Saturday, February 25th have been cancelled due to weather conditions.  We hope to get more snow next year and continue with this event.

CPSC Scholarship Program

Purpose: To help graduating high schools seniors who plan to pursue furthering their education in an accredited two or four year college. Consecutive year college students may also apply.
Amount: One (1) scholarship in the amount of $500.
Eligibility: Applicant must be an individual member or son, daughter, or legal ward of a family with a current membership in CPSC having two consecutive years prior membership in good standing. He or she is required to have passed the snowmobile safety course. Preference will be given to qualified graduating seniors, however, consecutive year students may apply.
a. Graduating seniors must submit a six semester transcript,  a letter of
recommendation from either a non-family employer or a teacher and also from either an individual or charitable organization that the applicant has helped as a volunteer, the student’s photograph, and a 500 word typed essay on “What snowmobiling means to me”.
b. Consecutive year students must submit either a letter of recommendation from either a non-family employer or a professor/ teacher or from either an individual or charitable organization that the applicant has helped as a volunteer, the student’s photograph, and a 250 word typed essay on “How I would improve CPSC”.
Selection: The CPSC Board of Directors will decide by majority vote which qualified applicants will receive scholarship funds. If a board member is an applicant or is the legal guardian of an applicant, said board member must abstain from the selection process to
avoid a conflict of interest.
Deadlines: Completed applications and all accompanying materials must be turned in no later than the adjournment of the February meeting. Selection will be decided at the March board of directors meeting and the winner will be announced.

Girls only snowmobile ride!!!

Last years ride was great fun and very memorable, so we are doing it again!
We will leave at 10:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday morning, January 28th from the Everbreeze Resort on Chute Pond and will return mid afternoon on Sunday, January 29th. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. for a short meeting before departure. You should arrive with your gas tank full and your duffle bag for the hotel securely strapped to your sled. We will ride approximately 100 miles on Saturday, with a number of stops along the way for refreshments, lunch and bathroom breaks!
Five rooms have been reserved at Cheney’s in Laona (formerly Silver Lake Inn) for Saturday night where we will have dinner and drinks after our ride. Rooms will be double occupancy unless other arrangements are made.
Sunday morning we will meet at 9:00 a.m. sharp and hit the trails to find breakfast and then head back to the Everbreeze.
Registration Information:
A $35.00 non-refundable deposit is due no later than January 7, 2012. Cash or
checks only to Barb Gaab @ 601 School Ct, Menasha, WI 54952. Gas, Oil, Drinks
and Food will be on your own. We will not cancel due to weather or lack of snow.
Contingency plans are in place to go by car for this girl’s weekend. Sorry no
refunds for the hotel costs.
You must bring your insurance info. and snowmobile registration for the ride.
