Chute Pond Snowmobile Drag Races

Saturday, February 13, 2010. Chute Pond Snowmobile Ice Drags to be held at Chute Pond County Park, 5 miles south of Mountain on Hwy 32. Free admission for spectators. Racer's registration starts at 9:00, racing begins at 11:30. $5.00 entry fee. Classes 0-600 and 0-800 (2 separate classes) unstudded, and also studded classes by engine size. There's more! Kitty Kat races, Junior Division, Women's Division, Vintage Races, and Grudge Matches. Heated tent at the lakeshore- food and beverages available. Raffles throughout the day. Next meeting 11:00 am Saturday, February 20 at Doze Inn on Chute Pond

Following the meeting will be our Club Slalom Races and

Cookout on the Lake, provided for CPSC members by the club.

Upcoming Club Events:

Club Ride and Trailside Cookout

Saturday, February 27, 2010. Cookout to be held 11:00 am- 4:00 pm at the "Big Y" intersection,

north of Hwy W, at Blue Spruce and Mountain Lakes Rd, east of Boulder Lake. $1 burgers, hot chocolate, soft drinks, and more.

Special raffles and prizes for AWSC members. Club ride details to be announced later.

Early Bird Special- Annual Banquet

Our Annual Banquet is being held Saturday, March 27th at Black Bear Trail Golf Club in Suring.

If you buy your tickets before February 19th, you will save $5 per ticket.

CPSC Adopt-A-Trail Program

CPSC Past Events & Pictures:

MS Snowmobile Tour in Carter, WI

Thursday- Sunday, January 28-31, 2010. Our club was represented in this fundraising ride for Multiple Sclerosis

by CPSC Board of Directors member Dylan Guendert and Jesse Juedes.

Together they raised over $2500 in pledges and donations to help fight MS.

2nd Annual Vintage Show and Ride

Was held Saturday, January 23, 2010. Click on the link above for more details. Results to be announced soon.

Christmas Party and Food Drive

Our Christmas Party and Food Drive was held December 12, 2009. Santa and Mrs. Claus paid us a visit,

we enjoyed a great luncheon hosted by Water's Edge on Anderson Lake, and we collected several

hundred pounds of food to donate to the local food pantry.

Fall Harvest Dance

This major club fundraiser was held Saturday, November 14, 2009. South Branch Band provided the music,

and CPSC member volunteers staffed the door, bar, and raffles. It's safe to say a good time was had by all.

Snowmobile Safety Class- November 7 & 14, 2009

A DNR approved Safety Class was held at the Mountain Community Building on Hwy 32.

CPSC Safety Instructor Mike Melchert conducted the class for 11 young students, ages from 9-14 years old.

Snowmobile safety rules & laws, signs, and proper sled operation were the focus of the class, with the

"Drinking Goggles" being used to reinforce the importance of not drinking and driving.

Special thanks to DNR Warden Joe Paul, who assisted in the training.
